Build a coordinated vinyl exterior.
Choosing Mastic starts with the shape of the siding. Traditional horizontal lap, a deeper Dutch lap shadow, and vertical board-and-batten details can give the same house very different character. Bring a photo of your home and a few examples you like. Compare those ideas with your existing roof, brickwork, windows, and entryway before narrowing the color selection.
The accessories deserve the same attention as the panels. Corners, starter details, window surrounds, and transitions all affect the finished appearance. If you are considering insulated vinyl, ask how the specified system fits the existing wall and trim. We work with ABC Supply on material availability so the proposal can identify the selected product and the components needed for your project.
BEFORE YOU DECIDE
Good questions.
Clear answers.
How do I choose between standard and insulated vinyl?
Start with your goals and the existing exterior. Compare the actual Mastic product, wall assembly, trim requirements, and installed scope. Insulated siding is not a substitute for assessing the rest of the home’s insulation, and energy savings should not be assumed from the siding choice alone.
Can vertical siding be used as an accent?
Yes, a vertical profile can be considered for a gable, entry, or another selected area. The design should show where materials change and how the trim and water-management details connect. We can discuss a coordinated look rather than selecting each wall separately.
Can new Mastic siding match my existing panels?
We first need to identify the existing profile and product. Availability and weathering can make an exact match difficult, even within the same brand. Review samples and the extent of the proposed repair before deciding whether to replace an isolated area or a larger elevation.
