MARYLAND / INSURANCE RESTORATION

Work toward approval.
For the full covered scope.

We work with insurance companies to support approval of the complete covered siding and exterior repair scope—not just the most visible damage.

Discuss storm damage
01

Document the condition.

We assess the reported damage and organize photos and project details to explain the proposed work. Share the date of loss and any insurer estimate you already have when speaking with the team.

02

Put the work in writing.

A detailed contractor estimate describes materials, quantities, related components, and the repairs needed. It gives the insurer a clear scope to review.

03

Address scope differences.

When an insurer’s estimate differs from the documented work, we provide supporting details and discuss additional items or a supplemental estimate where appropriate. The goal is approval of the full covered repair scope.

04

Confirm before construction.

Review the agreed work, insurer’s coverage determination, deductible, any upgrades, and payment responsibilities. Coverage and payment remain the insurer’s decision; we do not guarantee a full replacement or claim approval.

BEFORE YOU DECIDE

Good questions.
Clear answers.

Can you help if the insurance estimate seems incomplete?

Yes. We can review it alongside the documented damage and our contractor estimate, explain differences in the repair scope, and provide supporting information for insurer review.

Does working with insurance guarantee approval?

No. We work toward approval of the full covered scope, but your insurer determines coverage and payment under your policy. A contractor estimate is not an approval or a promise of payment.

Can I choose siding upgrades?

You can discuss them as part of your project. Identify any owner-paid upgrades and costs separately from covered repairs before authorizing work.

UNDERSTAND THE PAPERWORK

A complete scope.
Clear responsibilities.

01

What “full covered scope” means.

Our goal is to document the work needed to restore the covered damage, including related components supported by the project conditions. It does not mean every claim qualifies for whole-home siding replacement. The extent of covered work depends on the documented damage, policy terms, and insurer’s determination—not simply on a preference for a new exterior.

02

How scope differences are addressed.

An initial insurance estimate and a contractor’s repair plan may identify different quantities, materials, or related work. We can explain those differences using project details and provide supporting information or a supplemental estimate where appropriate. Additional documentation is a request for review, not a guarantee that the insurer will approve every item.

03

What to clarify before work begins.

Review the insurer’s written decision, the contractor agreement, your deductible, and any upgrades or other owner-paid costs. Ask your insurer about payment timing and any conditions for later payments. Keep copies of estimates, approved changes, and correspondence, and confirm which work is authorized before construction is scheduled.
